About Dr. Osvaldo Gutierrez, MD
Dr. Osvaldo Gutierrez is a Lindsay native and graduate of Lindsay High School who has returned home to provide compassionate care to the community where his journey began.
He earned his Associate of Science degree from Porterville College, a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from UC Merced, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. Dr. Gutierrez then completed his Internal Medicine residency at Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville, caring for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Dr. Gutierrez is committed to serving rural families and agricultural workers in Tulare County. His approach to medicine is centered on listening, building trust, and educating patients about their health. He emphasizes closing the “knowledge gap” in healthcare by explaining conditions and treatments in simple, clear terms.
“I do not just want patients to take a prescription. I want them to understand why they are taking it and feel like we are working together as a team,” he says.
