Dr. Rangel Orozco is a Lindsay native who has dedicated her medical career to serving the community that helped shape her. Born in Mexico and raised in Lindsay, California, she graduated from Lindsay High School as her class salutatorian. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in public health from University of California, Los Angeles before completing her medical training at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. During her training, she also earned a Master’s in Public Health with a strong emphasis on addressing healthcare disparities.
With a deep commitment to both the science and heart of medicine, Dr. Rangel Orozco completed her Family Medicine residency at Kaweah Health, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She was honored with the 2022 Kleist Award for exemplifying compassion in patient care and received the 2023 Kaweah Health Physician RISE Award in recognition of outstanding patient service.
Dr. Rangel Orozco’s passion for medicine is rooted in her desire to care for people across every stage of life while helping close critical gaps in healthcare access. She previously served as Associate Program Director and Core Faculty for the Kaweah Health Family Medicine Residency Program, where she mentored future physicians and worked to increase the number of doctors serving California’s Central Valley.
At Living Water Clinic, Dr. Rangel Orozco finds deep fulfillment in returning to her hometown to provide high-quality, compassionate, and equitable care. She proudly supports the clinic’s mission to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based medicine with dignity, excellence, and faith at the center of every patient interaction.
Dr. Rangel Orozco feels comfortable caring for entire families—from newborns to older adults—and places strong emphasis on preventative care, including well-child visits and adult annual physicals. She brings extensive expertise in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, weight management, heart failure, COPD, and asthma, working closely with each patient to develop a personalized care plan that supports long-term health and wellness.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Rangel Orozco remains deeply connected to her roots and community. Her journey from Lindsay student to Central Valley physician stands as a reflection of her lifelong mission: to serve with compassion, integrity, and purpose.
