Mark Jefferson Rivera, MD is an urgent care/primary care physician who practices in Beverly Hills, Santa Clarita Valley, and Kern County. He is board-certified in Family Medicine with advanced training in Plastic Surgery. He is passionate about patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine. He believes that the best care starts with a strong physician-patient relationship.
Dr. Rivera sees people with common medical problems. He is involved in the patient's long-term care. He provides preventive care, treats common medical conditions, identifies urgent medical problems, and refers to specialists when necessary.

When he's not practicing medicine, Dr. Rivera keeps himself busy outside the hospital. He likes driving along Benedict Canyon to Mulholland Drive, spending hours at Westfield Century City, grocery at the Original Farmer's Market, shopping with the family at the Grove, sitting down coffee (aka as people watching) at Rodeo Drive and Buffet at Korea Town.
He enjoys cycling, portrait photography, traveling, listening to his vinyl collection, car shows, relaxing in the sun, spending time with family and playing with his husky.

We also accept non-insured cash-pay patients. New patient rate is $125 for the initial consult and $100 for each consult after the first. Charges will vary depending on the type of diagnosis and amount of time spent with the physician.
