Dr. Madrigal President and CFO

Originally from Porterville, California, Erick Madrigal, MD, MBA, returned to his hometown following his professional education to establish Living Water Community Health and Wellness Clinic in Porterville, since expanding into Lindsay and Visalia, California, in order to serve the community where he grew up. Dr. Madrigal is a well-trained and highly dedicated physician providing expert family medicine care to patients of all ages. Dr. Madrigal attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Madrigal completed his premed course studies before moving to Los Angeles, California, where he completed a dual MD/MBA program at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles. Following medical school, Dr. Madrigal underwent residency training at the White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. Always a family man and dedicated to his community, Dr. Madrigal has also helped manage his family’s local restaurant business. Understanding that medicine is about much more than science, Dr. Madrigal has completed special training to be better able to provide culturally sensitive care and to address the unique socio-economic and health challenges of the more underserved communities.

 

Dr. Madrigal has also served as a course preceptor for several physician assistants and nurse practitioner programs at local colleges. Dr. Madrigal is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and can speak basic Wolof.

Gideon Cabahug, Executive Director

Gideon is a business/leadership professional with over 20 years of experience.  He graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's in History and later obtained his MBA. His vast experience in business management and his big heart for ministry led him to join his good friend Dr. Erick Madrigal in 2013 to create a faith based company culture for Living Water Clinic. He currently serves as the Executive Director at Living Water Clinic leading a team of medical professionals and administrators while spearheading the growth objectives and overseeing the multiple departments.   He and his wife actively serve at their church as mentors for fathers and mothers of young children and are both very passionate about doing work that aligns with their faith and values.

Andrew Fernandez Director of Finance and Business Development

Andrew Fernandez attained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is an alumni of the University of Southern California (USC)  and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration from (USC) Marshall School of Business. Andrew has worked with various medical and volunteer organizations, serving both as a business professional and caregiver. He grew up in Porterville, California.

As the Office Manager for Living Water Clinic, my job is to oversee the day to day office operations, and I am committed to making our patients and their families experience in our office a positive one! I joined the Living Water Clinic in 2016 and have over 18 years of Medical experience and customer service. I have also had the opportunity to serve patients as a Medical Assistant for 14 years. Brandy Leyva Clinic Manager

My name is Brandy Leyva and I am part of the managerial team at Living Water Clinic. I joined the group in 2016 and have over 16 years’ experience in the medical field. I spent the first part of my career working as a Certified Medical Assistant and then took on the role of Clinic Manager. As a manager of the Living water Clinic, I am dedicated to organizing and maintaining the day to day operations to ensure patients and staff are provided with an invaluable experience. I am passionate about working with the patients in the community and I am thankful to be part of the team at Living Water Clinic. It is the goal of the Living Water Clinic to provide quality health care to our patients and a friendly working environment for our staff. 

 


 
 

Irene Gutierrez Clinic Manager

My name is Irene Gutierrez and I just recently joined Living Water Community Health and Wellness Clinic team as a Manager. I graduated from Porterville Community College with an Art of Associates Degree, and am currently progressing towards a Bachelors Degree. As well as fairly recently becoming certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt Healthcare professional. Working in health care since 2005 it has been an optimal goal of mine since the very beginning to provide my community with a rewarding health care experience. As part of this clinics administrative team we aim in achieving just that, compassionate and convenient medical care.
